A challenge that I have dealt with is dealing with rejection, this is difficult for me because I take rejection at a very personal level and it is very frustrating to me. The way that I learned to overcome this issue is to first understand that people have their own preferences and their own ideas of what they need or want. Then I will take time to focus on specific goals for myself which will help me by keeping my mind off of what is causing me to feel frustrated which is being rejected. Following this I will talk the issue out with family members and give myself more work for me to do which will keep me from being depressed. In conclusion by keeping myself productive I will be able to not focus on being rejected and develop more goals for myself which will in turn make me feel not frustrated.
