In my previous post titled how martial arts helped me, I mentioned the various ways it helped me to develop the kind of thinking needed to accomplish goals. As I accomplished goals, I gained confidence in myself. The way learning martial arts helped me gain confidence was by completing goals which would lead to larger goals such as earning a belt. As I learned those skills, I learned how to deal more effectively with people who are difficult because I had more confidence. By having confidence in myself I learned to not break down when I face challenges in my life.
